ILULISSAT: ICEBERGS & NORTHERN LIGHTS

7 days / 6 nights, Copenhagen - Ilulissat - Ice Fjord - Kangerlussuaq - Copenhagen

The Ilulissat Ice Fjord is inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List!

Departures: Wednesdays 02 Nov, 2005 - 05 April, 2006

When visiting Greenland, most people want to see the Icebergs - and no better place to see them than in the Ice Fjord surrounding Ilulissat. Stay at four-star Hotel Arctic offering views of the Disko Bay and icebergs. Experience daily life in a modern town located 400 km north of the Polar Circle. Staying in Ilulissat also makes it possible to follow a Greenland hunter on his dog sledge to the isolated village Rodebay or to the fishing grounds on the frozen fiord. Following the stay in Ilulissat the program includes a stay in Kangerlussuaq, where you have one of the best opportunities to experience the Northern Lights, the Arctic wild life of muskoxen and reindeer or the Greenland Inland Ice Cap.
The Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights are mesmerizing, dynamic displays of light that appear in the nighttime Arctic skies.  Our exciting Northern Lights program takes you on a search of the magic and colorful auroral display of lights and colors. For viewing the Northern Lights and discovering the wonders of Arctic winter, there are few areas better than Greenland!
