Day 2 Mon or Fri COPENHAGEN
Arrival in Copenhagen, transfer on your own by train from the Airport to the Central Train Station. Short walk to the hotel. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure. Overnight at the Sofitel Plaza Copenhagen Hotel, ideally located in the city center across from Tivoli Gardens and within walking distance to the City Hall Square.

Day 3 Tue or Sat COPENHAGEN (B)
After breakfast, enjoy the Grand Tour of Copenhagen, an extensive 2.5 hour city sightseeing excursion. Pass by the Tivoli Gardens and the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, drive through the colorful canal district past the National Museum, by Christiansborg Palace, home to the Danish Parliament. Continue on to the old Stock Exchange and across Kongens Nytorv, where you can see the Royal Theatre, world famous for its Royal Ballet. The tour continues past the colorful harbor district of Nyhavn to Amalienborg Palace - Winter residence of the Royal Family, where you can see the changing of the Guard. This is followed by a visit to the Gefion Fountain and The Little Mermaid, inspired by H. C. Andersen's fairytale. Visit one of the many magnificent churches in Copenhagen as well as passing by Rosenborg Castle, where the Crown Jewels are protected by the Royal Guard. Afternoon at leisure. Perhaps enjoy the Christmas Market at Tivoli, opening on Nov 12, 2005. Overnight at the Sofitel Plaza Copenhagen Hotel.

Day 4 Wed or Sun COPENHAGEN - CASTLE TOUR OF NORTH SEALAND (B)
Enjoy the beautiful breakfast buffet at your hotel. 09:30 Depart for a full day excursion along the "Riviera road" to north Sealand. Leave Copenhagen and head north, with the coastline of Sweden following us. Drive through the charming Danish countryside to Elsinore and Kronborg Castle, the setting Shakespeare's play 'Hamlet'. Enjoy the Chapel and the Knights' Hall (the longest room in Northern Europe) and the dark casemates. Lunch en route (not included in the tour price). After the break, our tour continues to Fredensborg. The Queen's Summer residence of Fredensborg palace is attractively located in the middle of a lovely park, bordering the idyllic Esrom lake. Next highlight is Frederiksborg Castle, built by King Christian IV. This pearl of history, built in magnificent Renaissance style, is now a national historical museum, containing paintings, tapestries, porcelain, silver and furniture of great historical value. Overnight at the Sofitel Plaza Copenhagen Hotel.

Day 5 Thu or Mon COPENHAGEN
Day at leisure to explore more of Copenhagen. Time to visit the world famous Christmas Market at Tivoli Gardens, which opens on November 23rd. Or take a stroll down "Stroget", Copenhagen's bustling shopping street, where you will find the Royal Copenhagen factory and store as well as George Jensen, renowned Danish silversmith, along with countless other shops and boutiques. Visit the Christmas Market or enjoy a Christmas concert featured at Tivoli Gardens. Christmas in Tivoli presents all the delights of Christmases past and present. Stroll through the miniature villages with shops full of gifts and goodies. Tivoli's Concert Hall presents The Nutcracker, a co-production with the Royal Danish Ballet of the classic Christmas tale. Go skating on the Tivoli Lake and enjoy a meal in one of the many restaurants. Overnight at the Sofitel Plaza Copenhagen Hotel.
Day 6 Fri or Tue DEPARTURE FROM COPENHAGEN
Morning at leisure. Afternoon transfer on your own by high-speed train from the Central Train Station to the Copenhagen Kastrup Airport for your return flight back home.
