This tour covers the highlights of Iceland's  fascinating and unspoiled nature: Glaciers, Geysers, Waterfalls, Volcanoes and Hot Springs. Experience the powerful natural forces and contrasts of gushing hot springs by Geysir. Enjoy the spectacle of Strokkur spouting high into the air every few minutes, the roaring power of Gullfoss Waterfall, spanned by rainbows in the sunshine. You will be at awe with the lava and rock formations, and the glittering, everlasting ice on some of Europe's largest glaciers. Relax in the famous geothermal waters of the Blue Lagoon, an invigorating oasis of warm, aquamarine water in a lunar landscape of lava.

 

Day 1 USA - REYKJAVIK

Depart the US by Icelandair flight to Keflavik.

Day 2 REYKJAVIK

Morning arrival at the Keflavik Airport. Transfer by the Flybus to your hotel in the beautiful city of Reykjavik. Overnight at the Plaza Hotel, located in the city center.

 

Day 3 WHALE WATCHING - BLUE LAGOON (B)

After breakfast, enjoy a 3-hour whale-watching tour where dolphins, killer whales, minke whales and humpbacks are frequently sighted. This evening depart on an excursion to the Blue Lagoon. Bathe in the geothermal waters of the Blue Lagoon, a man-made oasis in the midst of lava formations famous for its healing powers! Overnight at the Plaza Hotel.

Day 4 REYKJAVIK - LANGJÖKULL GLACIER -

GEYSIR (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a comfortable day trip with the classic sights of West Iceland. Stop by Europe's most powerful hot spring Deildartunguhver on the way to one of the highlights of the tour - Langjökull Glacier, the second largest glacier in Iceland, for a super truck tour. Return to Reykjavik for your overnight stay at the Plaza Hotel.

 



Day 5 REYKJAVIK - GOLDEN CIRCLE (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy the Golden Circle Tour with highlights of the Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss Waterfall, known as the "Golden Falls", and the famous Geyser hot spring area. Visit the geothermal fields of Geysir, and spouting Strokkur, the most powerful geothermal hot spring in Europe, erupting boiling water every five minutes. Overnight at the Plaza Hotel.



Day 6 REYKJAVIK - USA (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure. Afternoon transfer by Flybus to the Keflavik Airport for your flight home.
